PRIVACY
Your holds, not your life story.
Angle needs very little to work. Your camera never leaves your phone.

Who we are
Angle is a free handstand training app made by Josh Lee (angle.coach). This policy covers the Angle app on iPhone and Android. Questions or requests: josh@angle.coach.
The camera stays on your phone
The timer works by tracking your body's position on your phone, frame by frame. Camera video is never uploaded or saved by us.If you tap record, the clip goes straight to your phone's Photos. Hold cards are only saved or shared when you choose to.
What we save
When you open the app it creates an anonymous account. No name, email or phone number. Tied to that account we save:
- Your holds and sets: how long, the shape (tuck, straddle and so on), which arm, any support, and when.
- Your badges and the date you earned them.
- Your onboarding answers: your level, quiz answers and flexibility, so Today shows the right drills.
Leaderboards show your best times under a random handle like “Athlete 7F3A”, never your name.
What stays on your phone
- Settings like voice on or off, and your daily reminder time. Reminders are scheduled on your phone; we don't send push messages.
- Holds you do with no signal wait on your phone until you're back online, then upload.
- Voice callouts are spoken by your phone.
Who else is involved
We don't sell your data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics in the app. A few services help it run:
- Supabase hosts the database and the anonymous accounts.
- Mux streams the drill videos.
- Google and jsDelivr serve the body-tracking files the timer downloads.
Like any website or app, these services see basic connection details such as your IP address when your phone talks to them.
Delete it all
In the app: You → Delete account. That removes your holds, sets, badges and the anonymous account itself, for good.
Heads up: deleting the app from your phone doesn't delete your data, and without an email on the account we can't link a new install back to it. So use Delete account first. Stuck? Email josh@angle.coach.
Kids
Angle isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
During the beta, data may be reset. When we add sign-in or anything new that collects data, we'll update this page and the date at the top first.
